Up for sale from a recent well known collectors estate in Honolulu Hawaii this
circa 2500-1500 BCE
Prehistoric nephrite jade anklet from Thailand is from a young female burial uncovered at the Lue archaeological site near the Thai village of Ban Kao. Jade was an important status symbol in prehistoric Southeast Asia has been researched by archaeologists to substantiate extensive trade routes. This piece has a lovely translucent color.

ere very fortunate for having been chosen to
work with the estate.  There are many items that I have not seen outside of well
stocked museums.  The tags that are attached to the items are from a gallery here in Honolulu and the pricing on the tags was what these items were offered for.  I am delighted to offer all pieces at significantly lower rates and hope that these items will find new homes in collections all over the world.

Hawaii and not the continental US,
and everything has to be
shipped in from out of state.
To give you an idea, a
shipping box,
if it is not a free one from the Post Office, costs between
$4 – $9
.
Bubble wrap
costs
$1 per foot
and I usually use at least 3 or 4 feet or more for breakable items.
Foam chips
per box (book box size) will be between
$8 – $10,
and packing tape costs me $3 a small roll.
