This is absolutely gorgeous. The body is heavy, black onyx. The beveled glass window is in extraordinary condition for its age! The flower is made up of seed pearls and is a “forget me not”. The bottom part of the flower “the leaves” has a bit of a swivel to it, I suppose just loosening over the years. The window clicks shut as it should. This is a beautiful example of a Victorian mourning locket!
