Description

Here is an very nice Hampshire Pottery vase with a bulbous bottom and a tall flaring neck. It is covered in their dark blue slightly mottled glaze.  Made in Keene New Hampshire before 1923 this pottery was influenced by Boston’s Grueby Pottery. Marked Hampshire Pottery with the in the mold mark, a slightly different M in a circle that looks a bit like a scarab, probably for Emoretta Robertson, and “107” the shape number.  It measures 9 1/2 inches tall and 6 3/4 inches in diameter at the widest.  It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, just a blob of glaze on the lower side from the firing.  An excellent piece of New England Arts & Crafts art pottery.
